St. Chrysostom’s Church

St. Chrysostom’s Church was founded in 1893. The current church building was enlarged and renovated in the 1920s.

Who was St. Chrysostom?

St. John Chrysostom, who had the Greek nickname of “golden tongued,” was the Bishop of Constantinople and was one of the Fathers of the Early Church. He was born in about 347 and died in 407.

All weddings at St. Chrysostom’s are scheduled through the clergy. Couples planning to be married at St. Chrysostom’s are required to attend two Wedding Preparation Classes to become familiar with the marriage ceremony in The Book of Common Prayer, receive guidelines about appropriate music, and have some of your questions and concerns addressed.
